Activity Week was launched over 20 years ago. It's vision is to see young people come together over summer for a week with YFC and, amongst activities, competitions and quizzes, learn what Christ has to offer them. We invite the young people, with whom we made contact in schools, on a week of various day trips which can include days at theme parks, the beach, doing watersports etc. Each year we hav around 100 young people on the week and it provides fantastic opportunities to talk with the kids and develop relationships. There are many chances to chat to them about the gospel and how it is relevant in their lives and we always include a gospel presentation at the end of the week. We automatically add any young person who attends a week to our mailing list and from then on invite them to any events we do in the future.

Local youth workers and volunteers join Trafford YFC for the week and through developing friendships with the young people, sharing testimonies and getting alongside those on the week, we have found young people becoming more open to the gospel and more willing to talk and share their own beliefs.
