CREATE: Workshops

[CREATE] is TYFC’s answer to the Government’s ‘Extended Schools’ programme, making schools the ‘hub’ of any community. We want students to feel that they can be themselves, ask the team about their faith, and have fun, all whilst learning new skills or building on those they have already through after-school short-courses.

We trialled a six-week after-school dance course last year, and it was an amazing success. We’re currently looking to expand the range of sessions we have to offer so please get in contact.

Day Retreats

Over the past few years TYFC have been asked to help schools with sessions for Day Retreats for the new Year 7s. These hands-on, energetic sessions are tailored to what topics you would like to cover on the retreat, and can be repeated throughout the day.

Typical topics are: ‘New Beginnings’, ‘Change’, ‘Growing Up’ etc. We cannot provide a venue but are happy to go to a venue the school has had contact with in the past. A typical day would cost around £125, and £550 for a 5-day week.
